Mathilde Rey, the DC from the University of Wroclaw, Department of Biotechnology, together with her colleague Subhradeep Haldar, organised a hands-on scientific workshop in biotechnology for high school students from Ekola International School. They introduced the students to the fundamentals of molecular biology through practical experiments using PCR, qPCR, spectrophotometry, and agarose gel electrophoresis.
It was a great opportunity to share how molecular biology techniques are used in real research settings and to spark curiosity about biotechnology and experimental science.
