Ass. Prof. Priv.-Doz. Amirreza Mahbod, MSc MSc PhD

The Danube Private University (DPU) is a private university with faculties for Medicine and Dentistry situated in Austria. The DPU is characterized by entrepreneurial thinking combined with first-class research and development. The Medical Image Analysis and Artificial Intelligence (MIAAI) group, led by Prof. Dr. Ramona Woitek, PhD, was founded in 2022. The group aims to explore applications for MIAAI across all areas of medicine in collaboration with affiliated clinical scientists and to develop advanced, specialty-tailored methods. 

Amirreza Mahbod is an Assistant Professor in the MIAAI research group at DPU, with expertise in computer vision, machine learning, and deep learning, particularly in the field of computational pathology. He co-supervises the doctoral student at TG in Research Project 7.
