Trinity College Dublin is Ireland’s leading university, and a member of the prestigious League of European Research Universities (LERU). TCD is ranked 12th Most International University in the world and ranked 25th globally in Pharmacy and Pharmacology. The DC will be part of the School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences (SoPPS), one of the oldest and best Pharmacy education establishments in Ireland. The research facilities of SoPPS comprise a unit operations facility for pharmaceutical research, an aseptic suite and specific research laboratories for formulation science, biopharmaceutics, cell culture as well as core facilities for chromatography and spectroscopy.

Lidia Tajber was Director of Teaching and Learning (Postgraduate) 2014-16 and is currently serving as Director of Research (2019-2023) in SoPPS. She was a member of postgraduate working group in Synthesis and Solid State Pharmaceuticals Centre.
